INCA MOSAIC
Blue INCA presents Sodalite Mosaic on mesh. These exciting honed twelve-inch square interlocking mosaics are 1cm (5/12 inch) in thickness and are quickly installed for use as accent pieces on walls and floors, for bathroom applications, for larger floors, and for unique pool and decking uses. The interlocking design creates a seamless overall finished pattern. Border mosaic mesh tiles in larger sizes are also available for a unique and artful design.

Sodalite is a rare semi-precious stone with complex coloration ranging from a rich royal blue to light blue and white with veins and highlights of taupe, orange-red and flecks that are sometimes pyrite or even traces of real gold. The durability or hardness of Sodalite is 5.5 to 6, making it harder than marble and nearly as hard as granite. As such, the use of Blue INCA stone for counters, floors, walls, vanities and other specialty applications is both functional and artistic.

The installation, care and maintenance of Blue INCA's Sodalite products are much the same as for comparable granites and marbles. Blue INCA maintains in the USA inventories of natural stone slabs containing 20% to 90% blue Sodalite of 3cm (1 1/2 inches thick) and tiles of 12 inches by 12 inches by 1cm (5/12 inch thick).

No other commercial deposit of Sodalite in the world can match the intensely blue characteristics and richness of the veins appearing in the Blue INCA mine high in the Andes Mountains.
